Timing of collection from clients and payment to vendors requires selection of the ideal accounting method that fits the needs of the individual interior design firm from a financial reporting and tax planning perspective. 

Proper software selection to support the complex project management and financial reporting needs of a project is vital to running a smooth and successful interior design firm. In almost all instances, we recommend Design Manager as it is an integrated project management and full accounting software all-in-one.

In addition to our main concentration of tax preparation and planning services, we provide one-on-one training in Design Manager use from both a project management level for the design team and a bookkeeping level. We provide support services for any issues that may be encountered at the individual user level. We also provide review services on a regular or as needed basis to ensure:

• the system is being used effectively with proper cost allocation to projects,
• the project items and tasks are being completed including verifying that all applicable item specifications are invoiced, all purchase orders are properly closed, and project management reports are cleaned up,
